Countdown to Christmas: Day 5: Christmas Styles - Braided Crown

Today I have a Christmas style to share! I hope you like it, and be sure to let me know if you have any questions on this hairstyles.

What you'll need:

1. Hairbrush
2. Hair elastics
3. Hair ties
4. Bobby pins

First part your hair down the middle, and begin a dutch braid on one side of the head. Try to stay close to your hairline while braiding. Once you get to the nape of your neck, braid a few more strands, and then secure with a hair tie. Go back to the braid and pancake the braid. Do the same on the opposite side.

When both braids are finished, un-braid the few stitches you add on. Stop at the nape and mix the braids together and tie with two small elastics so that they're not noticeable.

 

In the version that I did to Alexis in the pic, we left the ponytail out because it was a better fit for her, but the second option would be to flip the braid in on itself. Tuck the hair away and secure with bobbies. Both ways look absolutely adorable and perfect for any age!
